Cleaning Instructions: Youha Australia Pump Parts and Accessories
Read before use to ensure safety and
protect the life of your pump parts and accessories.
Cleaning your Youha Silicone pump parts*:
Applicable to: Silicone Breast Shields, Breast Shields, Breast Shield Convertors, Round Membranes, U Membranes, Valves, Silicone Massage Cushions, Connector Kits, Breastmilk Collection Shells
Clean before first use and after each use. We recommend washing in a separate wash tub (not the sink) in soapy water, rinsing well and sterilising this product with any steam sterilising system or by boiling it in plenty of water for 3-5minutes. Do not use any bleach-based agents or sterilising tablets to clean this product. Do not use UV sterilisers to clean this product as it may impact the lifespan of the product. Air dry thoroughly on a dedicated rack and store in an airtight container once dry.
Cleaning your Youha Tubing:
Applicable to: Y-Shaped Tubing, Single Tubing
Cleaning tubing before first use is unnecessary. Wash tubing only if it gets dirty or has residue inside. We recommend washing in a separate wash tub with soapy water, rinsing well, shaking vigorously to remove excess water and hanging to air dry thoroughly. Cleaning tubing is not necessary if condensation is present from previous washing. Simply air dry thoroughly and store in an airtight container once dry.
Cleaning your Youha Bottles*:
Applicable to: PPSU Storage Bottle 210mL, PPSU Storage Bottle 180mL
Clean before first use and after each use. We recommend washing in a separate wash tub (not the sink) in soapy water, rinsing well and sterilising this product with any steam sterilising system or by boiling it in plenty of water for 3-5minutes. Do not use any bleach-based agents or sterilising tablets to clean this product. Do not use UV sterilisers to clean this product as it may impact the lifespan of the product. Air dry thoroughly on a dedicated rack and store in an airtight container once dry.
Cleaning your Youha Teats*:
Applicable to: Teat and Lid
Clean before first use and after each use. If using a cleaning brush be careful not to puncture the opening of the teat. Alternatively, simply rub between fingers to clean. We recommend washing in a separate wash tub (not the sink) in soapy water, rinsing well and sterilising this product with any steam sterilising system or by boiling it in plenty of water for 3-5minutes. Do not use any bleach-based agents or sterilising tablets to clean this product. Do not use UV sterilisers to clean this product as it may impact the lifespan of the product. Air dry thoroughly on a dedicated rack and store in an airtight container once dry.
*These guidelines are provided in the case of a healthy full-term baby. In all other cases please follow guidance from the Australian Breastfeeding Association and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Caution:
Do not use Youha products for anything other than their intended use. Store products in a cool dry place and avoid direct sunlight. Keep small parts out of reach from children.
