Youha In-House Expect

IBCLC Kate Bird

Hi! I'm Kate, a Registered Nurse and Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I help families succeed by providing expert breastfeeding support and guidance.

I understand the challenges of breastfeeding, which is why I am dedicated to working with Youha to provide the education, support, and products you need to navigate your journey with confidence. Whether you're a new mum or have been breastfeeding for a while, Youha and I are here to help you meet your goals and enjoy a rewarding experience.

My passion for babies and feeding began at an early age, and I'm thrilled to have found a career that allows me to help families with their feeding goals. With over eight years of experience working in both hospital and community settings, I've helped hundreds of families navigate the ups and downs of breastfeeding and feeding in general.

As a Neonatal nurse, I work closely with mothers to teach them how to breastfeed and offer support with expressing and bottle feeding. I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to feeding, and I'm dedicated to finding solutions that work best for your family.

My philosophy is simple: no judgment, just support. Ultimately, what matters most is that you and your family feel encouraged and empowered to meet your feeding goals, whatever they may be.
