What it feels like when your fit is:
-
Massage Mode
Massage Mode is a rapid, gentle rhythm that mimics the suckling action that babies use to stimulate a letdown. The level selection (1–10) in Massage Mode changes the suction strength within The INs' lower range of vacuum strength (from 60mmHg). When you turn on your The INs, it will start in Massage mode (on the level you last used) for a preset of 2 minutes. After running for the preset 2 minutes in Massage Mode, The INs will switch into whatever other mode and level you were last using in your previous session.
Express Mode
Express Mode is a slow, strong suction cycle similar to a hungry baby's feeding action. The level selection (1–10) in Express Mode changes the suction strength within The INs' higher range of vacuum strength (up to 300mmHg). When switching into Express Mode, The INs will remember your preferred level from your previous use.
Mixed Mode
Mixed Mode interleaves massage cycles in between each express cycle. This mode can provide extra stimulation and improve comfort. The level selection (1–10) in Mixed Mode changes the number of massage cycles that are in between every express cycle (i.e. level 8 has 8 massage cycles for every express cycle.) When switching into Mixed Mode, The INs will remember your preferred level from your previous use.

I was exclusively pumping with my spectra pump which is good but I felt stuck to the couch and restricted in what I could do while pumping. I saw a lactation consultant who recommended these pumps as a supplementation to the spectra so I could express and still do things.
I use these more than the spectra now as they have great (strong) suction and allow me to pump while walking the dogs, doing chores, driving etc.
I would highly recommend these! Definitely find your nipple size and get the insert too, it’s well worth it!
11/10.
I pumped in the middle of the night and got 90ml-100ml on each side in only 10 minutes. UNREAL. In comparison I would get this in 15-20 minutes with a different brand hospital grade pump. I was able to go upstairs and fill up my water bottle and go to the toilet all whilst pumping (it’s the small things)
The quality is by far the best I have ever used. Super easy to clean and doesn’t have a million seperate parts. The converters fit perfectly into the breast shield and don’t fall out.
Highly recommend!
FAQ
How does The INs wearable breast pump work?
The INs fits into your bra and can be controlled with the buttons on its motor or remotely via the My YOUHA App to make expressing comfortable, convenient and most delightfully, free of any cords and tubing! The breast milk collects in the cups as you pump, when you're done you simply pour it into a bottle or storage bag.
Youha wearable pumpers say...
"Unbelievable being unhooked from all the cords!!!!!!!" and "You can get almost anything done while wearing them and can pick up your babies if needed"
How long does a pumping session last?
Approximately 15-20 minutes per session. You can conveniently check how long you've been pumping by opening the MY YOUHA app on your phone (even if you're mid-session) which will display a stopwatch that started when you turned your pump motors on. The App makes it super easy to track your sessions too, when you turn the motor off, it invites you to save the pre-recorded time and duration (you can also input the volume of milk you expressed to track your supply). A safety setting will stop the pump at the maximum recommended session time of 30 minutes in case you forget you're pumping!
Youha wearable pumpers love... "It’s portability - giving me freedom to look after my 4 month old twins and my toddler, cook dinner, play, hang washing out etc. It makes mum life significantly easier!"
Can I move around while I pump with The INs?
You sure can. The INs goes wherever motherhood takes you, so that you can move through your day (and to-do list!) seamlessly while staying present for your family and friends (who needn't know you're pumping). Take The INs on all your adventures and keep your milk safe for transporting back home in our insulated cooler bag or pumping bag.
Youha wearable pumpers say... "The pump is great! I pump on the bus, in the car, at work and it's all discreet. Just perfect!!" and "Loved having a pump that gives me the freedom to move around vs. feeling tied to my seat."
Can The INs be used for single or double expressing?
Yes, you can use a pair of The INs pumps for double sided expressing. Controlling your pair of The INs motors via the My YOUHA App allows you to synchronise their settings or control each side independently.
Can I pump on one side and breastfeed on the other?
You certainly can pump on one side and breastfeed on the other, allowing you to consolidate your overall feeding/expressing time.
Youha wearable pumpers say... "the Youha wearable pump being so discreet meant my baby wasn't grabbing the tubing, flanges and bottles out of curiosity like he would with a traditional pump"
What do I do with my breast milk once I've expressed?
Once you've expressed with The INs, you can store your milk in your baby's bottles or milk storage bags. You can chose to either pour through hole at the top of your cup with the breast shield still in place, regulating the flow by pressing on the soft shield, or otherwise simply peel the lip of the breast shield off the lower edge of the cup for a speedy transfer. If you're out and about, pop your bottles or bags of milk in a cooler pack with an ice pack to keep it safe until you can transfer to a fridge.
Is The INs wearable breast pump comfortable to express with?
Absolutely, The INs and its soft silicone breast shield is comfortable for most pumpers to express with. Once The INs' variable strength massage mode has stimulated your letdown, you can choose from 10 levels of suction strength in express mode, or use mixed mode which allows you to add between 1 and 10 massage cycles in between each express cycle for ultimate comfort and a more natural feel. When double pumping, the ability to control each side independently helps you easily find the most comfortable setting for each breast, and offset any difference in fullness or tenderness. Breast shields for The INs come in several sizes and convertors are available to accommodate natural fluctuations in nipple size throughout your time breastfeeding.
Youha wearable pumpers say... "It’s comfortable, quiet and it’s expressing strength is really good! Life would be tough without it." and "It is soooooo much more comfortable and easier to manage a baby plus toddler. Amazing"
Do I need a special bra to use the INs?
You won't need a pumping bra, but maternity bras (such as The ONE Multi-Performance Maternity Bra) work best when using The INs as the fabrics tend to be soft shell and the straps extend at the front to allow a little extra room for the pumps.
Youha wearable pumpers love... "The Youha wearable pump is the easiest and most simple pump I have ever used. Not having any wires or tubing also made it very discreet and easy to use when pumping at work."
What accessories are compatible with The INs?
The INs is compatible with Youha accessories including: Maternity bra and breast shield convertors, silicone cleaning brushes, 210mL bottles (for storing expressed breast milk) and teat with cap (for using those bottles for feeding), breast milk collection shells (for catching milk on non-pumping side), cooler bag and ice pack (for safely transporting your breast milk), pumping bag (for safely transporting your breast milk, snacks and other on-the-go essentials).
How does The INs connect to the My YOUHA app?
The INs connects via bluetooth to the My YOUHA app, available for download from App Store and Google Play. After the initial connection is made, the bluetooth automatically connects when you turn on the pump. You can even open the app up mid-way through a session and it will know (and show you) exactly how long you've already been pumping for. The My YOUHA app has been designed by and for pumpers and gives you control of all The INs settings in a simple interface that you can even switch to dark mode if you need to avoid waking anyone next to you! The statistics can give you (and your lactation consultant if necessary) a rich picture of your milk output per side and over time.
Does the My YOUHA app store my data on my device alone?
The My YOUHA app only houses your tracking data and statistics locally on your device, keeping it secure at your fingertips.
Can I use the My YOUHA app to track my milk output and sessions with other pumps?
Yes, you can use the tracking functionality on the My YOUHA app even if you pump is not connected (or not a The INs or an Embody). Simply use the manual data entry in the main menu to let the app know how long your session was, what time you started, and what your output was on each side. The statistics pages will help build you and/or your lactation consultant a picture of your overall supply and aid with troubleshooting.
How powerful is The INs wearable breast pump?
The INs' durable motors are built to last a minimum of 1,000 hours and each side has a pumping power of up to 300mmHg. Fully adjustable modes for massage, express and mixed mode enable The INs to be as efficient as possible.
Youha wearable pumpers say... "I honestly loved this pump so much, it's a great product and I got so many compliments from work friends who were curious!"
Does The INs wearable breast pump have backflow protection?
Yes, Youha Embody is a closed-system breast pump with built-in backflow protection. This means breast milk won't come in contact with the motor unit, ensuring it stays clean and safe.
Features Youha wearable pumpers love... "Portability, ease of cleaning, the motor isn't popping out like other wearable pumps, so more discreet." and "Convenient to use, and easy to clean, charge and maintain"
How quiet is The INs wearable breast pump?
The INs motor is quiet at an average of 48db each, quieter still when covered by clothing, and can be further tuned out by conversation, music and other ambient noise.
Youha wearable pumpers say... "The wearable pump was comfortable, quiet, enabled me to still be present with my children while still all importantly getting precious top up breast milk we needed to keep growth on track."
How does The INs compare to Embody or The ONE Pump and Express Cups?

How much breast milk does The INs pump hold?
The INs cup can hold up to 240mL of your liquid gold.
Is The INs spill-proof?
Yes, The INs pumps are spill-proof and leak-proof! The cups seal securely against the leakproof breast shield and the motor unit is spill-proof when in place (when connected to the pump via the membrane).
How long does it take to charge The INs and how long does the charge last?
Charging The INs' high-performance 3.7V 1100mAh lithium ion batteries via USB-C takes around 4-5 hours to charge from flat and the charge lasts 2–3 hours; or 4–6 pumping sessions between charges.
Youha wearable pumpers say... "The battery also lasts a long time!" and "The charging system is quite easy to use especially with the light system."
